Switzerland · New York

A radiant and singular artist, Laura Scaglia brings to the stage a contagious energy, a magnetic presence and a powerful voice that captivates and unites. Her trilingual sensitivity (FR/EN/IT) resonates with a wide, intergenerational audience, drawn to her luminous pop-rock sound, thoughtful songwriting and strong cinematic identity.

On stage, she is joined by four experienced musicians and offers a flexible live format (full band, trio or duo), with a show of up to 90 minutes. Between 2018 and 2020, Laura began her professional career between New York City and Toronto, before joining leading Swiss programs for emerging artists such as La Gustav and Helvetia Rockt Female Band Workshops. These formative experiences opened doors to iconic venues (Fri-Son, Nouveau Monde, Ebullition) and major festivals (Gurten, Stars of Sounds, Les Georges, Francomanias). Since then, she has performed every summer on festival stages, building a solid reputation as a generous and unifying live performer.

In 2021, she released The Calling, a debut visual EP co-created with Swiss filmmaker Mei Fa Tan. Widely covered by Swiss media (Femina, 24heures, RTS), the project showcased her deeply collaborative artistic process. Laura brings together cultural professionals around a singular vision, demonstrating bold creativity, a refusal to follow established formats and a rare capacity to transform an idea into a collective adventure, all carried by a strong and committed artistic direction. This exposure led to her performance at Rock Oz'Arènes in 2022, where she caught the attention of the press (La Liberté).

Her rise continued in 2024 with The Rise, a concept album whose lyrics form the foundation for a short film of the same name, co-directed with filmmaker Christophe Arnould. This hybrid, multidisciplinary work has already achieved a remarkable trajectory: 17 international festival selections and 3 awards to date. Presented during a cine-concert tour in French-speaking Switzerland, the project received enthusiastic media coverage and secured international distribution through a U.S.-based distributor. In July 2024, she performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Between 2020 and 2025, Laura was also lead singer of the pop-rock band High5. In 2023, she joined the jury of the Swiss Voice Tour, the largest vocal competition in Switzerland. That same year, her voice featured in The Fuse, a film qualified for the 2024 Oscars, in which she interpreted Volver Volver.

In 2025, she was selected to represent Switzerland at an international singing competition in Southeast Asia and recorded two tracks in New York City with renowned musicians, set for release in 2026. She is currently working on The Pulse, a six-track EP with her signature visual concept: a lucid, powerful reflection on the different phases, trials and stages of life, from youth to maturity. Scheduled for 2026-2027, the project will feature several international collaborations and further expand her live repertoire. It will confirm the rock-driven energy of her new show, to be launched in 2026, and mark a bold new chapter in her international journey, one that fully embodies her creative mantra:

Be bold. Be passionate. Be you.
